Scholarship Description

Microsoft is offering undergraduate scholarships for the 2013/14 academic year.

Applicants must be enrolled full time in a Bachelor’s degree program at a 4-year college or university in the United States, Canada or Mexico. International students can also apply if they are currently studying in North America and meet the criteria for scholarship eligibility. Applicant can apply regardless of their citizenship.

The scholarship award is offered in computer science and related technical disciplines.

The scholarship is grouped into four different types of technical scholarships: General Scholarships, Women’s Scholarships, Minority Scholarships and Scholarships for Students with Disabilities for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The selection criterion is totally on merit basis. Applications must be emailed or postmarked no later than February 1, 2013.

Microsoft scholarship provides a leg up so that the applicant can pursue undergraduate studies in computer science and related technical disciplines.

Applicants will join a community of scholarship recipients from the United States, Canada and Mexico who share passion for technology and academic excellence. It all adds up to achieving their primary goal-making a real difference in the software industry.
